Happy New Year!! We returned Monday from an almost two week trip to NC to be with our family and friends for the holidays. It was wonderful to get to spend so much time there this year. This was the longest trip we have been able to make since we moved to TN in 2006. Here is my attempt to recap our fun....
12/21 - Birthday Party for Jesus: We went to Edgewood for a cute kids program and a birthday party for Jesus. It was really cute and the kids had a great time. The highlight was when Santa arrived.
Grace was the first to volunteer to sit on Santa's lap!
I know she is my kid, but dang she is cute!! She loves Christmas so much!!
12/22 - Picture Day: We took Grace for some official holiday photos. We really got some good ones!!
This is my favorite and sums up her personality!!
Granny went with us so of course we made her get in a photo!
12/23 - We got to spend time with the Teasleys, have a good dinner and exchange some presents. Aunt Sandy always makes sure Grace has a big stack of presents and this year was no different!
Our little cutie ready to open some presents
She loves her Aunt Allison
Boombah made the trip to NC as well and was watching over us on this night as we opened presents.

12/24 - On Christmas Eve we got to relax and enjoy some time together with mom, dad, Matt & Allison. We had our traditional country ham, eggs, rice and biscuits for dinner and enjoyed watching Grace open her mountain of presents from granny and Papa, me and Troy and Matt and Allison. After Grace went to bed the adults all exchanged gifts and us big kids opened our presents from "Santa".
Her first leotard. Looks like gymnastics classes are in her future.

She loved putting together her new floor puzzle with her daddy!

Our resident bartender can make a great peppermint pattie shot
Me and Lu...one of my favorite ladies! Enjoyed getting to spend New Years Eve with her and all the other fun people we had over. I thought I had more photos of this night but apparently I was having to much fun to document it! :)
1/2/12 - The dreaded day of return to TN! We had a great time in NC and hated to leave. The Pilot was packed about a full as I have ever seen it for our trip back. We had great weather until TN and we got in some crazy snow. When we got back to Murfreesboro, Santa had left Grace a few things here as well.
She was happy with her movies and her daddy's shades.
Out of no where we were in the middle of a snowstorm!!
More puzzles!!
So cute that she didn't take the packaging off before trying them on.
This shirt sums her up perfectly!!
