Back to School, Football, Fair and Fall!

Since my last post we have started a new academic year at MTSU and have finally gotten past the CRAZY schedule that brings with it.  Grace went back to school and still loves it!  She has made a lot of new friends since most of her favorites went to kindergarden this year.  In a few days we will be flying to NC for a nice long weekend with family and friends.  I am sure I will have a lot to share from our visit, but for now enjoy photos of what we have been doing in the last few weeks.

One of the first days back to school.

Another photos from the first week.

Labor Day weekend we went to Nashville and went to Opry Mills for a little shopping.  We promised Grace a new Build-a-Bear if she behaved.

Choosing one is hard for a 4 year old.

We had a long day of shopping and fun and this was her not long after we were on the road back to Murfreesboro.

We encountered a bad rainstorm on the way home but got to see the great rainbow!

"Uncle" Joe was in town for work for a few days!
Grace enjoyed his version of the Nemo book.

Last weekend was busy - football & the state fair!!

The girls got bored at one point so we put a movie on the iPad for them.
Not sure why they chose to sit like this to watch it.

Crystal with Maddie, Grace and Kyleigh.  It is crazy how much our tailgates have changed over the last few years.  We are all blessed to have another addition this year with Maddie joining us!

We have taken a photo of Grace and Kyleigh every year...they grow up too fast.

Here is a snapshot of them over the last 3 years!!

Not sure Maddie was thrilled that Troy was holding her!?

Grace was excited to meet the cow at the game

If only these girls knew how much Becca loves them!!
Notice the iPhone in Grace's hand...it was not mine!!

Kyleigh teaching Grace how to play a game

Grace got to dance with the crazy dancing man.
MTSU people will know this guy!

Showing us that she can ride more rides at the fair this year.  There were a few she wanted to ride that they would not let her, but maybe next year.  We all had a great time!

Yes we tried fried Oreos and yes they are good!

We also tried the frozen banana.
Yes, Tyler...I took this photo just for your benefit.

Anxiously waiting to ride...

She had such a great time!!

For school Grace had to make an All About Me poster.  This year making the poster she had a lot more input and this is what we came out with.

This past week at school grandparents were invited to join the kids for lunch.  Part of what they did in prep for the parents was writing their grandparents names.  While all the other kids wrote "granny" or "papa" or "nana", our child actually wrote her grandparents names.  And she did a good job with it!

Grace decided a while back she wanted to be Snow White for Halloween. We were able to find a really nice costume at the Disney store at the beach and granny and papa bought it for her.  She asked today to try on the costume so I had to take a photo.  Halloween preview!

Sweet face!

Troy clean up our flower beds today and also put these beautiful mums in our planters by the door.  We are ready for Fall y'all!

We just need a few pumpkins now

While Troy was outside today, Grace played with her tee ball set.
She can really hit it!  I see some softball in her future.
