NO I AM NOT BLOGGING TO ANNOUNCE THAT I AM PREGNANT! Now that we got that out of the way, I am excited to share that our friend Crystal had her little girl Kinslee today. I was able to pay them a visit at the hospital tonight and man was it great holding a little baby. How quickly you forget just how great that feels. I tried to convince her sister Kyleigh to let me take Kinslee home with me but she told me that was not allowed and the baby had to stay at the hospital with mommy. 5 year olds are so smart!
We also found out today that our friends Beth and Caleb (who moved to Boston in December) are having another little BOY! As much as I prayed for a girl for Beth I wiil be just as pleased for her to have a happy and healthy little boy. She is not due until late this year, so we have time to prepare her for another boy. Wow! What a day for baby news!

Happy Monday!! As we approach July 4th and the celebration of the United States, I thought it appropriate to share with you how patriotic Grace has become. Apparently they are teaching them something at school that I would not think many 3year olds would be interested in....
Are you as patriotic as our 3 year old?
She is too darn cute, but I have to admit
I am getting tired of hearing this song!!
We also continued swimming lessons tonight. They got to wear life jackets tonight. To get her to put it on I had to tell her it had magic in it. She never really did warm up to it during her lesson!!
We finally went today to get some pictures made of Grace at Portrait Innovations. Since she turned 3 we have been trying to find the time to go and today worked out great. ENJOY!!
Below are the pictures we actually purchased
from the 130 or so that were taken.
Here are some of the ones we didn't purchase but are still worth sharing...
This was the very first shot of the day...I was worried at this point that we may not get any good ones!!
I really like this pictures of us, but the background was a little much!!
We could not get her to stop rocking so not many of these came out looking all that great.
After one week of swimming lessons Grace was a tired little girl tonight. Enjoy some pictures of her from her lessons this week. By the end of next week she may become a fish!!
Listening to Ms. Erica her teacher
She has no fear when it comes to jumping in the pool!
She loves going down the slide too!
Going down the slide with daddy
Best picture of the week taken tonight at the pool!
Well, we have had a lot going on in the last few days! Enjoy getting caught up!!
Over the weekend I joined my soon to be sister-in-law Allison and some friends in the NC mountains to celebrate her last few weeks as a single lady.
This was the view from the back deck of them cabin we stayed in.
Yes it was in the middle of no where but it was beautiful!
We started out our Saturday at the Hill Billy Grill in West Jefferson. It was a hole in the wall, but man the food was fabulous!!
We saw the first local wildlife at breakfast too!! Of course the bachelorette had to have a picture with them!
Yes those pancakes were bigger than the plate.
This very appropriate sign was on the wall at the grill!
These little decorated bags were all over the grill.
Heather C. made one in honor of Allison's special weekend.
After our breakfast we headed around the mountain to go canoeing. We were a little concerned about the weather but it ended up being perfect.
Our ride to the river
As we waited to get on the river this little puppy wandered up and Mollie fell in love. Needless to say she went down the river with us and Mollie became an instant mommy!
All of us just before jumping on the New River

Allison and Mollie
The scenery was amazing!
My canoemate Mary...unfortunately I have no pictures of me. There are some on someone elses camera so when I get copies I will certainly share!
Jennipher and Melissa
After our fun on the river it was time to give Banjo a bath and get her prepared for her new life!
Sweetest puppy ever!!
Before getting ready for dinner Allison got to open all her presents. For sake of saving her embarassment, I will not post anything to specific, but let's just say Matt will enjoy it all!!
This face sums up a lot!!
Maid of honor and bride-to-be at dinner
One of the best meals I have had in a while!! If you are ever in West Jefferson, NC...GO THERE!
So glad to have her become a part of our family!! LOVE YOU GIRL!!
Our party planner Mary giving us some directions! We had a blast playing some really funny games!!
One of the games Allison had to guess what Matt said about 30 some random questions. For the ones she got wrong she had to chew a piece of gum. She did pretty good but she had a lot of gum in her mouth by the end.
One of the games we had to get the broom handle through the toilet paper roll without using our hands. Mollie and Allison had a hard time with this one!!
Mary and Jennipher were a little faster!
Team Heather was the fastest!!
Melissa and Chandler were pretty fast as well.
Last thing of the night was toilet paper bride. I think it was a tie between the teams because both of these ladies look amazing in their toilet paper!
What is a bachelorette party without penis shaped cakes? Yes, I made these!
Grace stayed home with Troy and got some one on one time with daddy. Father's Day was Sunday and we are so thankful to have two great dads in our lives; my dad and Troy.
Today Grace had her 3 year check-up.
She looks so big sitting on the table at the doctor's office.
She was 31 pounds and 35 1/2 inches tall.
Today we also started swimming lessons
Grace loves her swim teacher
OK....YOU ARE UP TO DATE!! Hope you enjoyed all the fun from the last few days!
